Svart is the ship used by Alv and Dvergr in the Kiddy Grade series. It was destroyed later, when Eclipse used the same weapon on it as it has; the Reflection Field.
Weaponry[]
- Reflection Field: The ship is able to reflect any attacks made toward the ship. It doesn't only protects it, but also attacks back on the enemy's ship. However, due to Alv and Dvergr re-designing the ship, this weapon became less used and weaker.
Etymology[]
Svart is Norwegian for the colour "black". This resembles it's colour.
However, before being cut off of the Wirbelwind network and made different from the La Muse series by Alv and Dvergr, it's name was Melpomene.
Melpomene (/mɛlˈpɒmᵻniː/; Greek: Μελπομένη; "to sing" or "the one that is melodious"), initially the Muse of Singing, she then became the Muse of Tragedy, for which she is best known now. Her name was derived from the Greek verb melpô or melpomai meaning "to celebrate with dance and song." She is often represented with a tragic mask and wearing the cothurnus, boots traditionally worn by tragic actors. Often, she also holds a knife or club in one hand and the tragic mask in the other.
