Forbidden/Instrument is the 8th episode of Kiddy Grade and the 8th episode in the franchise overall. It aired on the 3rd of December, in 2002.
Summary[]
Éclair and Lumiere head out to clarify the illegal Geo Sort bomb trading route and to prevent black trade. However, while they start their mission on planet Kronin, they meet with the ES siblings Tweedledee and Tweedledum, who received the same mission as them. Éclair and Lumiere decide to work together with the siblings in order to prevent any more catastrophies.

~Forbidden~[]
There are 5 Geo Sort bombs, or "forbidden weapons". They became "forbidden weapons" due to a past action, when the La Muse series' Melpomene fired a Geo Sort bomb onto a planet, thus destroying it. However, today, the mentally injured Éclair's part and therefore her job to not only untangle the mystery, but also her memories if quite big. In this case, "forbidden" could refer to a single notch, bringing back her past and forgotten memories that she sealed away herself. It also seems to be a meaningful word for Dvergr, who asks Éclair whether she can "absorb" every one of her, linking back to Éclair's past lives. Even ES Member Alv has a meaning for this word - Alv can absorb and copy any ability that she wants, and therefore there is nothing forbidden for her.
